What was the Number One song on my birthday?

Here's something fun for you to try if you like music... even if you aren't aware of the best songs when you were born!

This site is called "#1 Song on This Date in History." You can search for the top song starting with the month, then the day, then the year. Maybe the song has something to do with your birth! Haha.

Apparently, the No. 1 song on my date of birth is "Alone" by Heart. I like to think that isn't the greatest song for me, but who knows?

That's be awesome if the No. 1 song for your birthday is one of your favorite songs, or a really popular one. I'd love to hear what the No. 1 songs for your dates of birth are... please reply!

Hey Jude by the Beatles was the song that was #1 the day I was born. Cool hub! :)

Hey jude, dont make it bad.Take a sad song and make it better.Remember to let her into your heart,Then you can start to make it better.Hey jude, dont be afraid. You were made to go out and get her.The minute you let her under your skin,Then you begin to make it better. And anytime you feel the pain, hey jude, refrain,Dont carry the world upon your shoulders. For well you know that its a fool who plays it coolBy making his world a little colder.Hey jude, dont let me down. You have found her, now go and get her.Remember to let her into your heart,Then you can start to make it better. So let it out and let it in, hey jude, begin,Youre waiting for someone to perform with. And dont you know that its just you, hey jude, youll do,The movement you need is on your shoulder.Hey jude, dont make it bad.Take a sad song and make it better.Remember to let her under your skin,Then youll begin to make itBetter better better better better better, oh.Na na na na na ,na na na, hey jude...

Fun Hub - I was relieved that the website goes back as far as my birthday! (The other Patricia is a few years younger than me, so she wouldn't have been worried.)

For the record - my song was How High the Moon.

Very cool idea for a Hub!  My #1 song was "Someday We'll Be Together" by Diana Ross & the Supremes.  :)

"Life Is a Song" by Ruth Etting, May 29, 1935. Fantastic hub, and thanks for the great link. If you don't know Etting, you may be interested in seeing this 1932 18-minute Mack Sennett short (She was on the same bill as Bing Crosby, who starred in six Sennett comedies): http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1ozcl_ruth-ettin

Glad you like the Ruth Etting video, glassvisage. They don't make movies like that today, unfortunately.

Then Aubrey got Livin la Vida Loca by Ricky Martin. I seem to get the bad ones to explain to kids don't I? My mom nearly peed in her pants when she got The chipmunks by David Seville and the Chipmunks! :-)
